SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

First staged in 1993, Off Centre is best remembered for bringing mental illness and its patients' plight to the attention of the media and general public in Singapore. The play traces the friendship of Saloma and Vinod and the hurdles they have to overcome, including social stigmas, prejudices and personal conflicts.

Off Centre: Drama-in-Education will be an interactive programme specially deisnged to help students of Literature appreciate and gain deeper insight into the study of themes, character, structure and literary devices.
