After sixty sold-out performances in 1995, Ging-Gang-Goo is back! Directed by Mr Kok Heng Leun, our Resident Director, this play focuses on a current concern: teenage street-corner gangs.

Bullying exists everywhere, but what can a victim do and why does one resort to bullying others. This play is about gangs and bullies, in schools and neighbourhoods - what motivates members to join them and why?

As before, each performance will conclude with a talk by a counsellor from the Volunteer Welfare Organizations under the umbrella of National Council of Social Service.

In light of the up-coming integrated resorts, Jackpot! uses gambling as a theme to explore the choices and struggles that face 16-year old Linda. Linda's family is falling apart because of her mother's extreme gambling as a theme to explore the choices and struggles that no one seems to hear or see Linda anymore. To make matters worse, her boyfriend has just left to study in Perth and communication between them is slowing down. With everything around her, spinning out of control, she decides she will place her savings on a football betting game. If she wins, she will have enough to buy a ticket to Perth and find out whether her boyfriend still wants to be with her, and if she loses, then that's it! Life can't get any worse anyway. What choice does she make? Where does she eventually place her bets?

Ah Boy is not just another re-telling of the same old tale, which has been simply plonked into a Singapore setting with Singapore references. the play manages to create many new twists and turns and breathe a whole new life of meaning into this magical tale. Through Ah Boy and his good family pet Ah Cow, the value of relationships above material comfort and success is conveyed, as well as the realization that when the world around us is filled with commotion and deception, family and friends are what we need most.

1965 was a significant year in the history of Singapore. It was a year where Singapore experienced a spell of uncertainty and difficult decision making. It was the beginning of our birth as an independent nation. Set against this tumultuous backdrop is a story of friendship and loyalty. How much is one wiling to sacrifice for one's community?

Anna tells the story of Anna, a young teenage girl and how she faces up to pressures at school, at home and among her friends. Presented in an interesting and innovative manner, the play will deal generally with issues of self-esteem, peer pressure and self-image. More specifically, it will platform eating disorders such as anorexia and how teenagers perceive themselves.

I Have a Friend revolves around two friends driven to attempt suicide. It introduces avenues that are open to troubled individuals.

This play will look at the importance of taking responsibility for our environment. Find out how growing "tow gay" for a science experiment can have many consequences! Through scenarios that affect the personal, larger environmental issues will also be looked at and discussed in a fun and interesting manner. This programme aims to encourage students to not take their surroundings for granted, and to think about how they impact on others, and the larger environment.

History, Whose Story? touches on Singapore's history in order to stimulate a discussion on the importance and relevance of history in the daily lives of students. It focuses on the relationship between Sir Stamford Raffles and Munshi Abdullah, as well as popular characters from Singapore's past, and is told through the eyes of a present-day student who discovers the many different voices of history.

This programme tells the story of three friends in school, enjoying all experiences of being young and independent, until one day when one of them decides to join a street gang. This Theatre-In-Education programme deals with gangsterism in schools. It touches on the relationship between the victim and the bully as well as bullying itself. This highly interactive programme builds self esteem and encourages students to express their opinions confidently and coherently.

Late Nights deal with the themes of change in the parent-child relationship and communication within the family.
