Mounds

Mounds a performance installation, is a piece that moves about and halts at 8 spots in The Heeren. The artist begins at each spot by building a little soil mound, which is then adorned with flowers that bear significance to desires and fears. An interactive piece which attempts to pull in participants, these mounds are not complete and the performance by the aritst carries on, until someone, somewhere in the crowd of shoppers/spectators offers a response to them. The installation is complete and free for all to view once the mounds are lade with the thoughts and emotions of the crowds at The Heeren Shops.
