SYNOPSIS

Synopsis

Standing Tall revolves around the experiences of three school friends, Marcus, Vijay and Li Lian. It focuses on the struggles of adolescents in dealing with peer pressure and societal expectations in the search for personal identity.

Ultimately, it is  self-esteem, respect for their own and others' choices and the ability to exercise a degree of mental toughness which makes them stand tall.

This play was performed 70 times as part of the Youth Mental Health Awareness Campaign co-organized by the National Council of Social Service and TNS.
