Aveline's monologue, Auditions, uses the voice of an actress-wannabe: bizarre, nervous, tries too hard, yet evidently serious. She introduces herself (or at least tried to) and almost threatens suicide. There is a black farce and hackneyed humour, and like a delicacy, this monologue will slide down but might not settle easy.

Huipeng's monologue is about a woman named Babe. She is talking to her attorney about how she shot her husband "as a result of continuous physical and mental abuse". The incident happened after he had beaten a young black boy with whom she was having an affair with. She is at a loss as to what to do and on the verge of losing her sense of reality and sanity.

They plan to hold the March at the Padang, with dykes on bikes, fags and fag hags, leathers and feathers; they want to shout out loud and be proud...Excuse? Will they even get a license? Um, will we? As they plan, the tension mounts; the cracks in their relationship surface. Jokes turn to bitchiness, which turn to clawing...Eventually, the very event that is supposed to show their unity threatens to tear them apart. Are they going to prove themselves to be ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE SIN-GAY-PORE...or will the rainbow colours represent segregation and prejudice? Is pink over?

The play lapses into a movement piece, Angst, the carefully sculpted product of two hours of spontaneity that ends in affirmation.

Let Me Go! is about Kheng, who is invited by her best friend to go to the concert of a lifetime! One major problem - she would get home way past her curfew and her mother will not budge. She is torn between following her mother's strict orders, her friend's tempting suggestion, her love for music and her impulse to just get out, enjoy herself and exert her rights.
