A non-naturalistic play with reference to Hindu mythology, this play tells the story of a serpent who wants to leave the ocean, the ocean who cannot bear to part with the serpent, and the conversation between a blind man and a dead man.

She hides out at the airport. She refuses to go home. She's not a rebellious teenager. She's an 85-year old grandmother who won't be talked into changing her mind.

This 20-minute play explores the relationship of a family with their grandmother over time and in the changing landscape of a developing Singapore.

Devised with a cast of 10, this 20-minute play confronts the perceptions young people have of their grandparents and elderly people in general.
