Joan, a nurse who has lived out since she was 17, is moving again. Her life is in a rut and she wants to clean it out by moving away to some place where she can be alone… a new address… a new telephone number… a different neighbourhood. But as she takes out the boxes, she realises it will be different this time. She's not just moving out, she's moving on.

Boxes explores human relationships at its mundane level- living from day to day, struggling to find that spark of commonality. Joan, on the threshold of 30, can't move forward as she can't look backward. Or is it because she has never left the past in the first place. Pat, trying to break through and make contact, to involve others in her life and herself in others' existence, gets more than she bargained for. Life- existing in enclosed spaces, relating with people you don't plan to relate with, learning to relate to those you wish you could.

Set in a secondary school, Those Who Can't, Teach focuses on Mrs Phua Su-Lin, a teacher and single mother trying her best to manage both roles. Faced with constant and rapid changes in her life, she finds increasing difficulty coping with her two major roles. Further complications arise when there is news that her school is moving to another district. Changes take place everywhere but what happens to those who are unable to adapt?
