Jason and Daniel have been in a relationship for seven months. One day, Jason meets a man at a club, and has unprotected sex with him. Although he regrets his action, it is too late. This interactive play will be presented in an informal setting and will involve audience participation.

To celebrate its 20th Anniversary, The Necessary Stage presents a brand new play that deals with the issue of living, dying and the pain in between. Set in a hospice, Good People is about the ups and downs of the relationships between Miguel; the new Medical Director; Yati, the jaded nurse; and Radha, the terminally ill patient addicted to marijuana for pain relief. As the three get to know each other, complications arise, If Radha get caught, will she be given the death penalty when she has only a few months to live. Moving, humorous and evocative, Good People looks at urgent contemporary issues through the test of personal relationships.

Let Me Go! Is about Linda, who is invited by her best friend, to go to the concert of a lifetime! One major problem--she would get home way past her curfew and her mother will not budge. The audience will help Linda, through role-play of the characters with the actors, to discover ways to work through her frustrations, which might also be their own.

First staged in 1993 to critical acclaim, Off Centre is recognised as a landmark play in the history of Singapore theatre, best remembered for bringing mental illness and its' patients' plight to the attention of the media and general public in Singapore.

The play traces the friendship of Saloma and Vinod and the hurdles they have to overcome, including social stigmas, prejudices and personal conflicts.

Off Centre has also been selected by the Ministry of Education as the first Singaporean play to be offered as a GCE 'O' Level literature text from 2007, and has been republished by The Necessary Stage.
