This installation piece is based on the idea of the dissemination of information; how one reacts to “networked” news, which has been censored or filtered to cater to propaganda. have a pleasant show, we pay to dream in a sleeping society puts to play a “made-believe reality” set against actual reality; questioning where we look to for our information; and in who and what we choose to believe.

How close to art do we want to get? These 2 "inviting" installations tease the boundaries between performer/artwork and spectator/viewer; challenging both groups into claiming possession and space.

left right, right left explores manipulative relationships. The interaction and contact between two entities, 2 physical bodies, create the space for shifts in gender paradigms and power, opening up possibilities for multiple interpretations.

This work is in two parts: a photograph and a video projection. Together they serve a double function (duifungsi). First, the work as a whole should function as a "window" into historical period and the research carried out in that period by my mother and myself into cognition, agency, propaganda and art. Second, the work as a whole should function as a "mirror".

The monoperformance unfolds at the intersection of technology, genders, and sexualities. The position of the performative self within time and space has been destabilised resulting in a dynamic site which embraces transgenders and transexualities, and a new understanding of social and emotional policies. A movement/dance piece, N.A challenges our assumptions of the "traditional" classification of Race, hoping to ignite some thought and discourse on related themes of prejudice and the common inheritance of the human race. 

Love is a game people have been playing for centuries. Let's Play Chess… explores love and emotional relationships between the two sexes, over a game of strategy and manipulation.

Will your Left Brain send a postcard to your Right Brain when you are asleep tonight?

A.S.A.P is a live improvisation piece. The focus is on the spontaneous interaction of bodies in space, as well as reactions to the stimuli of the immediate environment. The performers are exploring texture, speed, rhythm and movement narratives instead of theatrical norms such as character, meaning, plot and issue.

We are impinged and we impinge upon others. Often, most of us have many selves: the marginalised self and the privileged self. IMPINGE: Concerning Difference looks into how these "selves" interact with one another and with society at large. 

A lift attendant of a cabaret club thinks he's in love with a drag queen. The drag queen is the only reason why he feels his stay in a foreign country is tolerable. The only problem is he does not believe that she is a he. Instead, he believes that she is the one he has been waiting for.
